XSW keyboard layout v0.02 by tmr

keyboard functions:
key combo Description
F1 general client key command list
P strobe on/off, turn the blinking lights on your ship on off. only applies to some ship types.
i intercept, a window will popup and you can type the object name to set a intercept course to.  Names are case sensitive, or enter the object number example "tmr (#35)" you would enter #35.
middle click in radar automatically sets intercept course to object.
u drop scanner lock.
y set weapon frequency, if your frequency matches your targets that you are attacking it will by pass the shields (if raised) and hit the hull.  This is not as fantastic as it sounds since if it hits the hull only it dose not drain your targets energy level therefor target will still be able to fire back and maneuver as opposed to hitting the shield will eventual cripple the ship to a stand still and weapon failure.
e server commands type help for a list. hit e wall <msg> to communicate without the limitations of "
w weapons on/off toggle.
[ ] client side manual interval tune, at what rate should the packets be sent back and forth. I recommend keeping auto interval tune on and left alone. =)

<tab> cycle scanner lock on objects within scanner range.
left click on target
radar or screen
place a lock on that object
a change active weapon selection if you have more then one weapon. (down)
q same as A only moves selection up.
f Shield frequency same idea as Y key.
s toggle shields on/off
g change radar scanner orientation from galaxy center to vessel heading.
h hail/tell a ship within scanner range your comm. frequency in order to communicate using " key.
" send message out on current comm. frequency.
k set communication frequency.
l Toggle vector lights on/off.

,/. zoom out/in on radar useful for battle and being able to distinguish densely clustered objects. (SHIFT increases zoom increments)
n full zoom in radar.
o full zoom out on radar.
b breaks/motion damper very useful for flying.
v Toggle lumination (head lights) on/off
c damage control, repair hull damage using ships energy, don't know what kind of a drain if any dose it put on your ships energy.
x exit game completely, type yes or no.
z clock ship, if your ship supports this, shields are off when clocked and you can not fire.
Delete key reset engine speed back to 0
END/HOME key scroll to top or bottom of message window.
F2 turn painting of lock on target and arrows pointing to heading and target on/off.
F3 turn painting of labels on/off.
F4 idle mode.
F8 throttle mode - ????
F9/F10 Connection dialog/disconnect from current server.
F11 tell the server to resend all objects data
F12 reconnect to server.
SHIFT-MIDDLE click lock on tractor beam, must be in range, drains antimatter and is lost if you fly to fast.
SHIFT-U unlock tractor beam.
1-9 switch weapons. (quicker then A key)
spacebar fire weapon
up arrow/down arrow increase/decrease throttle
left/right arrow change heading/turn
alt key - left/right arrow move engine trust left or right.
\ Turns on auto viewscreen zoom (if it was not on). Pressing - or = turns it off. 
r Reverse thrust (available for the keyboard and the joystick when it is set to normal scope). (haven't tried)
