In the beginning

A new or respawned player will start the game with a runabout, a very small ship, and some credits. So the first task is to find a stardock and buy a better vessel. The runabaout is useless in battle, but it is small and hard to see for possible enemies. Watch out for small yellow arrows around the ship, this means someone is targeting the ship, and will attack. Try to escape in the opposite direction, the runabout is small and may be able to get out of the attackers scanner range before it is to late.

Use the starchart or the webmap to locate a stardock. To buy a ship, move close to the StarDoc, rightclick the mouse and select 'Economy' to bring up the econmy window. Find a good ship which don't cost too much, mark it with the mouse, and press the 'Buy' button.

Things to do

Trading

Most planets and bases will trade various products with the players.

Killing

Kill enemy drones (and players) to get scores and bounty credits.

Colonizing

Counquer objects from the other empires to get score and ownership of planets.
